Free Will and Destiny

When people consider the past as free will they are filled with remorse and regret.

When they consider the future as destiny, lethargy and inertia set in.

A wise person considers the past as destiny and the future as free will.

On Desire

Desire means that the present is not sufficient enough; that it is not okay the way it is now, this moment. Desire means projection to the next moment.

Desire simply means being unaware of Infinity. Desire simply means you don't know yourself.

What is Success?

Whom do you call a successful person? What are the signs of success? Blood Pressure? Fear? Ego? Anxiety? Are these the signs of success? Then what are the signs? Power?

Look at all the people who are in power, there is such a struggle and they are not happy. Then when they have power, there is so much fear that they may lose it! To maintain it, again there is struggle and when they have lost it the memory of that power makes them miserable...

True Identity

A person identifies himself with a particular race, religion, culture and nationality, and he will fight for that, die for that.. and others will die with him too.

Instead, share a broader perspective - that first and foremost we part of the Divine.

Reason and Faith

Reason is reeling in the known. Faith is moving in the unknown.

Reason is repetition. Faith is exploration.

Reason is routine. Faith is adventure.

There are five types of restlessness

The first type of restlessness is due to the Place you are in. When you move away from that place, the street or the house, you immediately feel better. Chanting, singing, children playing and laughing can change this atmospheric restlessness. If you chant and sing, the vibration in the place changes.

Business and Spirituality

Often business is looked down upon by spiritualists and spirituality is put off as non-practical by businessmen.

Spirituality is the heart, business is the legs, and that is what the ancient people conceived.

An individual or a society is incomplete without both these aspects. Business brings material comfort and spirituality brings mental and emotional comfort.

There are two types of knowledge

The first one is pure knowledge and the second one is applied knowledge. Applied knowledge may benefit you directly and immediately but pure knowledge benefits you indirectly in the long run.

If there are some things that you have studied or understood that you are unable to put into practice, do not get disheartened. Sometime in the future, if you do not discard the knowledge you have as impractical, it will be of use to you.

What is the Perfect Relationship?

No Relationship! 'Relationship' means two, and when there are two, there can't be perfection. When we recognize that there is no two, this is the perfect relationship. What is your relationship with yourself?

When your relationship with yourself is perfect, all your relationships are perfect.

How do you get rid of stress? How can you be tension free?

Look at tension. Isn't it about what happened yesterday or the day before? Ten years ago? You're holding onto the past, which has gone! All your anger is about the past, isn't it? Can you get the past back?

At any moment, see what your mind is doing. It is going into the past... It is angry about the past or anxious about the future, isn't it?
